1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the API, or using a Qrauthix verification page, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Qrauthix is a product-authentication platform. Manufacturers issue Simple or Secure QR codes tied to products and batches; consumers, retailers, and other third parties can verify those codes through our website, mobile application, or API.

3. Accounts & Organizations

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Organizations are the unit of tenancy for products, batches, and QR codes — you may only manage data belonging to an organization you are a member of.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Generate, distribute, or apply QR codes for products you do not have the right to represent as authentic;
  • Attempt to probe, script, or enumerate Secure QR identifiers, or otherwise attempt to determine the validity of a Secure QR code outside the official mobile application;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or device attestation checks;
  • Use the Service to facilitate fraud, including presenting counterfeit goods as verified.

5. Verification Accuracy Disclaimer

A "Verified" result confirms that the scanned identifier matches an active QR code in our database and reflects the product information supplied by the issuing organization at that time. Qrauthix verifies database records; we do not physically inspect products, and a "Verified" result is not an independent guarantee of the physical product's authenticity, safety, or quality beyond what the issuing organization has represented to us.

6. Fees

Paid plans are described on our Pricing page (illustrative pricing; actual terms are agreed with each customer directly). Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in a separate order form.

7. Intellectual Property

Qrauthix retains all rights to the Service, including its software, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of your product and organization data.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms, including attempts to enumerate or bypass Secure QR protections. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qrauthix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including reliance on a verification result.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Qrauthix against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Qrauthix is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
